About the Author

What is there to say about me?

I’ve recently completed my Master’s degree in theoretical physics from a major Canadian university, and I have a BA in mediaeval history, but what I really want to be is a writer.

Religiously, I am agnostic; I believe that it is entirely possible that supernatural entities exist beyond the ken of science, but at the same time I see no good reason to believe that they do; ergo, I assume that they do not. My ethical beliefs can be considered utilitarian, but this is really only an approximation of them (which breaks down in certain extreme cases). I consider my politics to be social democratic, but that too is only an approximation.

I have been diagnosed by a registered clinical therapist as being on the autism spectrum; in general, I find that this does not really negatively impact my day to day life. Additionally, I am asexual and cripplingly obsessed with Star Trek.

I have also recently admitted to myself that I am transgendered after a bloody long time spent soul-searching, and am now trying to come to terms with being a woman.

  1. So you don’t have an email address I can send this to, but I saw this and thought you would enjoy it 🙂

  2. You seem like a very interesting person. No where near the run-of-the-mill. 🙂

    Hello,
I found your blog a few days ago, and after reading your last few posts, I’m glad I ended up here somehow. One can tell from the way you write and the topics you discuss that you are a very intelligent, enlightened and complex individual (not to mention your fascinating background, since, as redpilloutlaw said before, you seem like a very interesting person). Keep up the great work!
